UCLA’s Summer ESL Program offers two consecutive, yet independent summer session terms to meet your English language needs. UCLA refers to these consecutive summer terms as Summer Session A and Summer Session C. Our 6-week ESL sessions are designed for international students who wish to pursue English language studies abroad, though matriculated UCLA students are also encouraged to enroll as needed. Note that Summer Session B is restricted to matriculated UCLA students who are planning to study in another country.
UCLA summer sessions also observes national holidays that occur during regularly scheduled summer programs. As such, classes will be canceled on the following holidays:
Independence Day (July 4th)
Labor Day (September 6th)
