I found the Undergraduate Writing Center to be a very helpful and easily accessible service. I visited the UWC one time during the two quarters I was on campus, but I decided to visit again virtually during the Spring 2020 quarter for help with a history paper. I am so glad that I went! My PLF was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helped me get on the right track with my outline. My experience was so good that I revisited multiple times throughout the quarter, typically having meetings with the same PLF. I found it surprising how I never utilized this resource when I was on campus. My writing improved greatly with the help of the PLFs at the UWC, who provided beneficial feedback and encouraged me to dig deeper when writing my essays. I will definitely utilize the UWC’s services more often when we return to campus!
