Logan Juliano
Logan employs an innovative approach that engages students through creative and critical frameworks. They earned a PhD in Performance Studies from UCLA, where their research explored videogames, queer of color identity, and speech acts. Their creative work spans podcasts, interactive theater, and games, all with a shared dedication to inclusive values and defining the audience to serve. For UCLA’s Writing Programs, Logan has taught courses in Digital Writing, Writing for Audio, Business and Social Policy, and Empowering Culturally-Diverse Writers for the Professional Writing Minor and Graduate Certificate in Writing Pedagogy. Their experience teaching in Spain, South Korea, and the United States, working with the Academic Advancement Program, leading mindfulness workshops for vulnerable populations, and personal identification as a queer transracial adoptee, equips them with approaches to support students from a range of diverse backgrounds to level up their composition skills. Their current projects include merging meaningful story with game mechanics, and ongoing mindfulness coaching work.
