Jeroen Gevers

Jeroen Gevers holds a Ph.D. in Second Language Acquisition & Teaching from the University of Arizona, and a C.Phil. in Musicology from UCLA. Before joining UCLA Writing Programs, he taught at the University of Twente, VU Amsterdam, and City University of Hong Kong. Jeroen has done research on topics related to genre theory, sociolinguistics, authorial identity, and academic socialization, inspired by his own multilingual background and multidisciplinary training. He especially enjoys working with international graduate students.
