Drew Fleshman

Drew Fleshman is a PhD candidate in the Department of Comparative Literature at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). His research focuses on structures of representation, language, and subjectivity in 19th and 20th Century Anglophone, Francophone, and German literature, film, and philosophy. Drew holds a B.A. in Philosophy (with an English minor) from UCLA, an M.A. in Humanities from the University of Chicago, and a J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law (now UC College of the Law, San Francisco). In addition to his research and teaching, Drew is co-Editor-in-Chief of Press Start, an academic journal of video game studies.
