Writing Programs Lecturer for EC 3D

Description

UCLA Writing Programs seeks up to three lecturers to teach a first-year English Composition course that satisfies the campus Diversity Requirement and the Writing I Requirement (English Composition 3D). In this course, students explore difference and diversity through writing as well as through classroom engagement informed by inclusive pedagogical practices.

We are particularly interested in candidates who have published/presented on topics related to diversity and/or whose creative or academic work focuses on issues involving diversity and inclusiveness. Experience teaching or performing outreach service to underrepresented students is desirable.

Submit letter of application, curriculum vitae, a diversity statement, a sample syllabus for a first-year college writing course focused on issues of diversity, and a list of references through UCLA Academic Recruit.
