Donald Vincent holds a B.A. in Writing & Public Relations from Loyola University Maryland, and an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Emerson College. Donald joined Writing Programs in 2018 after teaching Literature and Research Writing courses at Emerson College since 2013. Donald serves as an Academic Advisor on behalf of the UCLA Arts Initiative (Arts In) Program and other independent study projects. Donald currently teaches English Composition 3 & 3D, and English 100W. He is the author of the critically acclaimed poetry collection, Convenient Amnesia (2020). When not in a classroom, Donald creates recipes for That’s So Vegan, an online cooking show, and records music under the name Mr. Hip. He is currently working on his second book and researching how cultural studies informs and supplements rhetoric and composition for multilingual writers and learners.
